Final Game

This game was fun to create. It took me a short period of time because I made a previous game that is similar to this one. The main charaters are Peter Pan and Tinkerbell! If Peter Pan comes in contact with Tinkerbell or the shooting starz the game will restart. He has to collect the bags of gold.! This game is not as challenging i have made the rest but it is a bit challenging on the second level. But it is fun. Once you start you wont want to stop until to you have won the game. I hope you enjoy it.! I would recommand this class to anyone who like creativity! I enjoye taking up this class and hope that if my main career that i would like to take up doesnt interest me that this will become my career.!

Platform

This game to the left is not the actually game. I had some diffculties trying to get a screen cap of it but this is the example one i made before actually making my game. the theme of it is mario. If you are a mario fan you will enjoy my game. I find it fun but challenging. It is not easy to win. You may have to start over 3 times before making it to the next level. But if you put your mind to it you will be to win the game. It was really fun creating this game. It took a couple of days because of the tiles but it was worth it.

Super Mario Galaxy -

Mario goes to save the Princess. Bowser and minions attack the Kingdom and kidnap the Princess. He runs through the village to rescue her.


Super Mario Advance 2 (Super Mario World)-

The mario brothers, along with Princess Peach, are vacationing in Dinosaur Island. Then when they least expect it, Bowser once again kidnaps Peach and takes her to his castle.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Dr. Eggman secretly follows Sonic to his vacation spot, Westside Island, and launches a full-scale attack, imprisoning all the helpless animals of the island and turning them into mindless war.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

A bad version of Mario, Wario, takes over Mario's castle and locks him out using 6 golden coins. Mario must search for said coins all over Mario Land to take back his castle and go one-on-one with Wario himself.

Sonic Advance-
Sonic runs through a loop in the fifth zone, Angel Island Zone. HUD features clockwise from bottom left: lives, ring counter, score, and time elapsed. The player must play through 6 normal zones, followed by the X-Zone and the Moon Zone.

Assignment 3

This game was easier to create and took less time than my maze game. If you are good with coordinates you'll find creating this easy just as I did but if you have trouble with coordinates you will find this creation hard. The coordinates werent actually like those used in geometry but the were similar. Right and down were positive, and Left and up were negative. Even though it sounds and looks hard it isnt. I enjoyed creating this game. Its full of fun and challenges. Its hard to hit an object with out trying not to run into another one.

Top scrolling shooter games

Radiant Silvergun-

This game was created in 1998. It has shooter features, great pacing, smart controls, and some outrageous graphics.

River Raid-

You swerve left and right, shooting down choppers, balloons, and tankers. You must pay attention to your fuel supply. Which makes you have to choose sometimes between easy kills and going to a fuel station.

DoDonPachi-

It provides a nice challenge, it is easy on the eyes, boasts great bosses, and features an examples of Engrish games. That if anyone caught playing the arcade unit outside of Japan would be prosecuted.

Lightening Force-

This Genesis blaster let you choose the order in which you attacked the missions. You go through wave after wave of incoming ships and big aliens, you collect weapons that can be taken to other missions, which becomes a helpful strategy.

M.U.S.H.A-

You pilot through several stages of hard, fast-paced assaults collecting P-chips that change the size of your robot. The game requires lightning reflexes and good memory, especially when you confront the game's numerous screen-sized bosses. This game is one of the best shooters on the Genesis game!

Maze

It was more diffcult creating this then the other one because it had more objects and I had to use more functions. Like with my last game I had help from a friend and my teacher making the process of completing my game last diffcult. I really enjoyed this experience and i feel that this game will be more fun and grab your attention more then my last game. As you get through each level the game gets harder but it is fun. Once you get started you wont want to quit until you have won. I am very proud of my game and feel that it was a great way to manage my time.

Ball Maze-move the ball through the maze.
